Preliminary Task

 

Over 2 weeks, we had to plan, and construct a two minute short film which had to be titled the trap. We briefly drew a storyboard so that we could follow it when it came to filming. In groups, we all came up with ideas that could possibly be used for the short film. We finally decided on a plot meaning that we had to think about locations and props so that we could make it look effective. We thought about different camera angles and chose the ones that would suit the short film the most. Lighting was thought about in the dark room so that we were able to make it more interesting for the audience. This made the scene more interesting. A prop that we used was a newspaper article draft so that we could actually see what the short film was based on. Below is the short film we constructed as part of our preliminary task.
