At the end of the presentation, we had to choose which genre we would like to research into more detail. We chose this because we would be able to investigate with the codes and conventions. We all found the codes and conventions interesting besause a lot of horror films stick to a similar narrative. At the start of the presentation, when we started to research sub-genres, we found horror more interesting to look into than horror.
Horror And Drama Genre
Once we had analysed some short films, we were told to choose two film genres that we are looking at researching for our final short film. We had decided that these genres would be horror and drama because we all agreed that these were interesting genres to look into. We then researched into these genres to develop an understanding of them by creating a powerepoint and presenting it to the rest of our class.
