Double Page Spread/Review Page
When I planned out my double page spread, I looked at all the possible that I could use as my main image. I finally decided that the image below would look effective as a double page spread main image. I didn't have to edit this image as I liked the lighting in the image and felt that it was bright enough to see Yusra in the background

I looked at real double page spreads when it came to creating my own as I found that there were many typical conventions that were used. I found that a lot of magazine double page spreads would have a short review or summary of the film at the end. I felt that this was effective as it meant that the page would look more organised.
Double page spreads also have a text box that will contain all of the main details of the film for example the certificate and running time.
Some magazines specify what different ratings meant by using stars and having a short description to explain what the particular rating meant. I thought that this was a good idea for my own review page
Finally I found that on some pages, they use puffs to appeal to an audience. I thought that this would help attract a target audience to the page.
Below is my final double page spread/review page after i used all of the conventions that I found when researching real media products.
When I was creating my double page spread, I experimented with having a pull out quote on the page. This is shown below.
I felt that the pull out quote took the attention away from the main image, I tried to experiment with different colours as I felt this may improve it.

In the end, I felt that the quote looked really out of place, I therefore decided to leave it out, and once doing this, I felt that it looked much more professional
