Setting, Make-up, and Costume
Costume
We used the drama department to look for costumes that may be useful for our characters. We looked for a costume for Yusra. Below are the two that we looked at.
Costume 1
We thought that this costume didn't look very good, although it makes her look like she must have been dead for a long time because of the style of the dress. However, we felt this dress would make her too obvious
Costume 2
We thought that this costume was the best that we could find. It would mean that Yusra would blend into the background and we thought that this would be appropriate for a paranormal film. This is the costume that we decided to keep for filming our short film.
Make-up
As a group, we thought that Safa would be the best at doing Yusra's make-up and she was also fairly confident with this. Below are images where Safa practiced Yusra's make-up. The last image is how we decided the make up should look for the film.
Setting
We had decided our location to film quite early on as Safa said that she felt her house would be good to film at. We did consider other locations incase it wasn't a good setting, but Safa sent us some photos of her house and we all agreed to film at her house
We decided to film at Safa's house especially because she said that her house had a few boxes around the houes. We also took some boxes from the drama department so that we could create a better setting for the house. We tried to put the article on the computer at Safa's house but it didn't fit fully on the screen so we used Safa's laptop instead.
